No UDRS in South Africa Vs India seriesGerald Majola, chief executive of Cricket South Africa confirmed that there will beno umpire decision review system will be used in South Africa in the series against India. He also said that Indian team is also not willing to use it.

Many players’ wants to have this review system in the series as it can help to rectify some wrong decisions of the umpires. South Africa’s AB de Villiers also has shown his disappointment on not adopting the review system in the series. He said that this system can prove helpful in making right some wrong decisions of umpires. He added that UDRS is very important technology and it should be used in all king of crickets and should declare compulsory in cricket.

UDRS has been used in Australia, South Africa, England, New Zealand and West Indies. Players and different captain favor this system. In 2008, in the series of India Vs Sri Lanka India was not able to get any benefit from review system and that was the only time they use this technology. Sri Lanka got 11 reviews in their favor. In the home series against NZ, Indian captain hesitate to use this technology. They have a point of view that standing umpires will be the best judgers
